Video challenge: how’s your Geordie accent?

Share in top social networks!

If it’s good enough for Cheryl, it’s good enough for us! Our video challenge this week comes all the way from Chicago via Expat Mum. She currently has a Geordie poem up on her web site. (For those in the dark, a Geordie is a person from the North East of England, Tyneside to be precise.) The poem is written phonetically, so all you have to do is read it out loud as it is written. Video it all, or just a few versuses. True Geordies are welcome to show us how it’s done but must admit to their Geordie-ness first (not looking at anyone in particular Trish.)
